The Bridge program is an industry-academe collaboration with the following goals:
- To Enhance Skills of Incoming Seniors to Prepare them for Industry Work
- To contribute to the Improvement of Academic Programs by Strengthening its Relevance to Industry, thereby producing graduates with the skills and knowledge needed in real world projects.
This year the topics included Web based development using ASP.net and Project Management which equipped the students with skills to properly schedule, execute, and monitor the projects to ensure its timely and successful completion. At the end of the program, the students are expected to produce software modules which can be deployed to actual users.
Past year Bridge programs have covered other technologies including Java / J2EE and Linux.
In addition to technical topics, Alliance encourages students to take Nihongo classes, by giving them a brief introduction of the Japanese culture, including the country’s native language, Nihongo. This is conducted by Alliance’s in-house Japanese teacher.
Congratulations to Batch 3 of the Alliance - CITU Bridge program.
