The EDGE Talk Series has wrapped its 2nd quarter legs in Manila and Cagayan de Oro. The Manila leg, a partner event, was held in April 24 at NEC Philippines HQ in Makati. The NEC Edge Event was designed to present the newly branded Alliance EDGE solutions and Alliance IT development services to NEC Account Managers. Guest speaker Kris Pineda also shared how the partnership between Alliance and NEC Philippines came together. From what started as a search in 2012 for a POS solution compatible with NEC POS hardware resulted to a partnership she describes as "the perfect fit". She cites how commendable Alliance support was from pre-sales to after-sales after having successfully implemented POS solutions together for large clients such as Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, San Mig Food Ave and ABS-CBN Mobile during the past two years.
The CDO leg, co-partnered by Orion and Datche Philippines, was held last May 27 at the Mallberry Suites. Attended by SMEs from CDO, Bukidnon and Iligan, business owners were introduced to the Alliance EDGE solutions through AEES AVP TJ Luna's talk. Participants also received solutions consultation through the EDGE hub stations where they were able to see the solutions live in action. Melissa King, AEES Account Manager also shared how automation is integral to successfully managing a growing business as evident in Alliance EDGE clients like District 32 (Mactan International Airport Mall Management) and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
The next EDGE Talks are slated to visit Manila and Davao in the 3rd quarter of the year.
