NEC Philippines together with Alliance Software hosted TwinPOS and Alliance WebPOS sales and technical enablement for key resellers and distributors for NCR and Luzon territory last July 15 at the Richmonde Hotel Ortigas.

The objective is to solidify the position of NEC as a one stop provider of end-to-end solution for the Philippine retail/fine dining and fast-food market by enabling key partners to position and support NEC accredited software and POS hardware models to their respective end-users.

The welcome remark was given by the Mr. Tsuyoshi Sawada, Senior Vice President- NECPH. This was shortly followed by a Retail Strategy talk lead by Ms. Marivic Segismundo, NEC Sales Director which emphasizes the Alliance Software Inc and NEC Philippines partnership as a pivotal role in providing a complete retail solution that NEC distributors and resellers can take advantage of and use as part of their unique value proposition to their accounts and future opportunities. Ms. Leigh Opis, Channels Retail Executive presented the NEC Hardware and Sales Enablement to the partners as part of the morning activity.

Alliance Assistant Vice President, Mr. Te Jay Luna led the afternoon talk focusing on Alliance WebPOS and its key benefits and deployment advantages for NEC partners such as:

  1. Realtime sales and inventory management from anywhere in the globe.
  2. Can support SME type businesses as well as corporate accounts with national presence.
  3. Easy deployment and compatibility with NEC Machines.
  4. Minimized supports issues (offsite or onsite) since Alliance POS runs on the cloud.
  5. Flexibility in deployment, application development and integration options.

This was followed by a technical enablement led by Mr. Japee Canonizado, together with the NEC Retail Support Team, who also trained the technical staff of the resellers on how to setup POS machine models NEC G5 and NEC G52V1.

With a solid reputation of NEC Hardware and flexibility of Alliance WebPOS, NEC Partners are now equipped to offer the best from both worlds. Positioning a tried and tested solution for the local market will clearly help them win new deals and develop new ones.
