Aligned with Alliance’s mission in helping its employees to create, build and maintain innovative, reliable, and cost-effective IT solutions, one of the latest cutting-edge technologies Amazon Web Services (AWS) was introduced to the chosen participants from the different business units last August 24. AWS Representatives George Roland Parrilla, Account Manager and Solutions Architects Romulo Gapuz Jr. and Richard Neil Ilagan offered to hold the training for Alliance employees to learn AWS capabilities and apply them in both internal and client projects. Aside from its capabilities, existing technologies that have been made possible through AWS were also introduced.
The representatives and the participants enjoyed a review game on Kahoot after the day-long series of discussions and workshop. Ralph Joshua Villanueva (ROW), Maria Jenessa Hagonoy (ASJ), Takashi Ishii (ASJ), Peter Andrei Abellana (ROW), John James Libron (ASJ), Roland Jude Macasero (JOC), Shelly Mae Abadiano (ROW), AJ Godinez (JOC), Eleizer Absin (ASJ), Rex Seadino, Jr. (ASJ) received tokens from AWS for winning the mini-game.
The event was deemed successful with the help of the HR staff and BU heads. Senior HR Manager, Rizalina Cañete hints that more of these capability building trainings will come about in Alliance soon.
