Alliance Software, Inc. participated in the 14th National Cooperative Summit alongside E-Support Link (ESL), a Japan-based company to promote “WEBCOOP.” Alliance is the partner for WEBCOOP system in the Philippines.
The summit was organized by the Philippine Cooperative Movement (PCM) and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) to bring organizations from the private and government sectors to address issues the cooperative sector is facing in an urgent and strategic way.
In line with this, Alliance promoted “WEBCOOP,” and all-in-one system that delivers key benefits to increase revenue, lower cost, and expand business operations.
According to the CDA administrator, Benjie Oliva, cooperatives teach its members financial management and responsibilities thus urging the youth to join. Alliance believes that with this rapid change of technology, cooperatives and organizations should start using the right tools and applications to aid them.
Upon joining the summit, Alliance was expected to come up with solutions in determining the future of the cooperative sector in the current rapid change of socio-economic shifts in the country and all over the world.
WEBCOOP has already supported Micro Finance, Micro Insurance, and Accounting Modules. In the future, it will be able to support Purchasing, Inventory, Sale, and POS modules as well.
