As Alliance Software Inc. reaches 20 fruitful years, there is no better time to extend the initiative towards maintaining a work-life balance for the employees to live their "best lives". In accordance with the LiveIT campaign which had a successful run since 2016, it has pushed ahead in the direction of becoming paperless and easily manageable — the LiveIT mobile application. The successful internal launching of the LiveIT App transpired last November 12, in a room accommodated with the company's BODs, Seniors, PMs, and PLs. The application's demonstration was conducted by the main developer, Mr. Edbert Estevez who was also joined by Mr. Jess Miñoza, both of whom made this vision possible.
The LiveIT App serves as the digital LiveIT card which most of the employees have already acquired. This card is an exclusive perk for the Alliance employees to enjoy freebies and discounts from associated establishments. While the company provides a variety of these goodies, inconveniences like having to keep track of the promo availability and getting information about its inclusions, and making sure to bring the card to avail such, gave rise to the idea of developing a mobile application aimed to handle these. The features included in the app are a list of partner merchants and its locations, each of which has its available benefits, and most importantly, a digital LiveIT Card and QR/barcode.
Aside from it being beneficial in a way that makes it convenient for both the employees to avail the promos and the HR to manage these data to keep it up-to-date, it is also a conscious effort towards curbing plastic pollution by reducing the material production intended for the cards, thus, in some ways, saving the environment. Employees can now experience the work-life initiative in another level by downloading the LiveIT App in Google Play and App Store.
